"Elisabet's transparency in Come Fill the Gap (CFTG) translates into a bold and powerful personal testimony, and for that alone, it is a must read! She uses her life story and the vulnerability of her past trajectories to underscore, what in my personal opinion, the main intention of the Song of Solomon is; that Jesus' perception of us is completely different from our skewed darkened perception of ourselves. He sees us through the eyes of redemption and love, a love so pure, unconditional and holy that it is hard for us to receive it in its magnitude: we limit the fluidity and abundance of His all consuming love because of our issues-just like the Shulamite when she rejects her lover by telling him 'go away to the mountains.'" Elisabet's attention to scriptural detail gives us greater insight to God's desire in entering with us into a deeper and more fulfilling relationship, emphasizing that our relationship with Him is the foundation to our spiritual, physical, mental and relational well-being. Her ability to capture the Lord's heart and intention in every scripture of the book is heard in her tone, the deconstruction and understanding of the use of symbolism, choice of narratives, language, timing in her integration of biblical correspondences, movies, and books. There were many instances while reading that I thought: 'For such wisdom is too great for man to know alone.' Thus, evidence evidence of the presence of the Holy Spirit's guidance and workings imprinted in every page of this book. God used CFTG to fan the flame of intimacy He wants so much with me, to draw me in just a little closer so that I can hear His whispers of how much He loves me and that there is no more shame from the past. Elisabet's courageous disclosure of her struggles resonates the true essence in which Jesus wants us to live: in freedom! Her depiction of our Lord's character refreshed my perception of my bridegroom and challenged me to ask, 'Where is it that I am not allowing Him to Come Fill The Gap?' and most importantly, to surrender those skewed perceptions of who our Lord is not : a God who is holding a scoring board next to our name with checks and minuses. Bravo Elisabet! For you have truly communicated God's heart in your in depth research, meditation and relentless search of our Lord's words in Song of Solomon!!"
